Online Offerings
CTLT offers a variety of formats to meet the needs of learners, from in-person coaching and training to totally online courses. Additionally, hybrid sessions and facilitated discussions are part of the Moodle that CTLT employs. Using a variety of online and in-class teaching strategies makes it possible to achieve goals and objectives more effectively. This format may challenge you in a whole new way of learning and engaging.

Facilitated Conversations/Forums:

  • Cross-district learning communities: Provide opportunities for role-similar professionals to deepen their learning and strengthen their ability to support change efforts within their school, district or BOCES. Available on a variety of topics. Previous communities include: Lake County District Leadership Team and Transforming Students into Learners Early Adopters

  • Between the Lines-Book Studies: 4-week, facilitated discussion in a cross-district environment. A glance at past readings:

Hybrid Courses:

  • Transforming Students into Learners: This 4-day institute is coupled with online support for participants to dialogue and share artifacts in between institute days.

Online Classes:

  • Data-Driven Dialogue Basics: This 4-week facilitated course is designed as an introduction to begin to understand and utilize a collaborative inquiry process for analyzing and interpreting data.

  • Assessment for Learning 101: This 4-week facilitated course helps develop background and common vocabulary related to using assessment to support learning.

  • Facilitation 101: This four-week facilitated on-line course is designed for educators and educational leaders to develop their skills in facilitating professional learning communities or teams.
