Online Offerings
CTLT offers a variety of formats to meet the needs of learners, from in-person coaching and training to totally online courses. Additionally, hybrid sessions and facilitated discussions are part of the Moodle that CTLT employs. Using a variety of online and in-class teaching strategies makes it possible to achieve goals and objectives more effectively. This format may challenge you in a whole new way of learning and engaging.

CTLT's Between the Lines Online Book Studies--Bi-monthly

Join author Robyn R. Jackson - former National Board-certified teacher and middle school administrator, CTLT Change Coach Kathy Dyer, and readers from varied roles in education to read, study and discuss online Jackson's Never Work Harder Than Your Students. Teachers and administrators from various disciplines will benefit from conversation about how any educator can become a master teacher with the right practice. Highlighting seven essential principles of effective teaching, one being "never work harder than your students," Jackson maintains that these specific classroom strategies produce the highest quality teaching. Due to high demand, please register at least 2 weeks prior to the beginning of the book study.

  • Cross-district learning communities: Provide opportunities for role-similar professionals to deepen their learning and strengthen their ability to support change efforts within their school, district or BOCES. Hybrid Courses:

  • Transforming Students into Learners: This 4-day institute is coupled with online support for participants to dialogue and share artifacts in between institute days.

Online Classes:

  • Data-Driven Dialogue Basics: This 4-week facilitated course is designed as an introduction to begin to understand and utilize a collaborative inquiry process for analyzing and interpreting data.

  • Assessment for Learning 101: This 4-week facilitated course helps develop background and common vocabulary related to using assessment to support learning.

  • Facilitation 101: This four-week facilitated on-line course is designed for educators and educational leaders to develop their skills in facilitating professional learning communities or teams.
